This book was like 2 chapters long, started in the middle of a story with no context, and I couldn’t figure out the relevance of the story to anything else in the hitchhikers galaxy.... still amazing writing and descriptions but totally unrelated to anything and without even a proper ending lol

I thoroughly enjoyed this! Only discovered it existed recently so it was nice to discover something else Douglas Adams had written as I have devoured everything else he has written in a similar manner to a starving man on a desert island would behave if he suddenly discovered there was a MacDonalds near one of the beaches (and he was therefore the only customer)(apart from the staff). Lovely Adamsesque prose. I won’t reveal who I think the ‘entity’ is so I don’t have to press the ‘spoilers’ tag. (It’s only what I think anyway so it wouldn’t be much of a spoiler would it? Not a bad little short story that adds to Zaphod's character. He was a bit uncharacteristic, but I can tell it was the much more mature Zaphod and why it was suggested to read this after So Long and Thanks for All the Fish. Perhaps this is a prelude to the next book that I will be starting in the series. The final book! Overall, I did enjoy this short read. The beginning was quite funny and in true Douglas Adams fashion. I became very interested when the secret was finally revealed about the "invincible" ship that was being investigated and hope more comes of it.
