I still want more. This book was unbelievable. The story was amazing. These characters get in your heart and stay there. They become like your best friends or family. The writing was awesome. These books were so easy to read. I don't get a lot of reading time and I read this in 9 days.

Glad Abbey and Caspian finally got the end they deserved. There was a lot going on in this book and I found myself skim reading towards the end because there was a lit of backstory in a small amount of writing. However it was a good book and while I don't think I'll be retreading it anytime soon I'm happy that one of the series I am reading has given its characters a happy ending!

This is the final book in the "Hollow" trilogy, and my least favorite of the bunch. Jessica Verday is one of those authors who caters pretty strongly to her target audience, which doesn't exactly include me. I'm not a huge fan of paranormal romance, or romance in general. Why am I reading this then? Well, because of the "paranormal" part. I love a good ghost story, along with a strong gothic setting, and Verday does setting exceptionally well. What I mean by catering to the target audience is she tends to spend a lot of time on scenes I'm not particularly interested in--like the love scene--and crams a lot of exposition and plot points into summary--like explaining the finer points of how the Revenants work and what the rules are in the afterlife--when I'd rather see those sorts of things expanded on.
It's not for me, but I was committed to finishing it, and the first one has a good amount of intrigue and atmosphere. However, this one ended on an extremely disturbing note, and I really didn't like the message it seems to convey.

not the best ending to a series ever.... i really wish verday could have figured out a way for abbey to have her perfume shop...to let her connect with kirsten. i mean her and caspien are like nikolas & katy and abbey was able to see them! so why cant kirsten see them? hmmm, anyways... very suspenseful & the sex scenes were tastful.

I really love this series, the characters, the perfume making, the setting, just everything. The ending of this one always makes me want to cry, but in a good way. :) A great way to end Abbey and Caspian's story.
