This book moved a bit slowly at times but by the end I could not put it down. I enjoyed the characters, however maybe things wrapped up too nicely for me. Where’s the chance for Maggie and her mom to have it out? Talk about a bad relationship. I will say this book was also somehow sad but hopeful at the same time, so that is always something unique!

Beautiful and heartbreaking! Slightly slow start and predictable twists, but this man has the ability to make your heart feel so many emotions all at once!! Another gorgeous sparks novel ❤️

With Nicholas Sparks' books, I know I'm going to cry. But not the ugly kind of cry. But it's a good kind of ugly cry. The story was so good.

Nicholas Sparks is back to his old tricks...cried like a baby at my desk at work finishing this one tonight! I loved the story within a story aspect, and even knowing it was going to be sad I didn't expect it to be as sad as it was.

This was beautiful and emotional, but also incredibly predictable. I had both MCs plot twists predicted in detail before the halfway mark. I also found the resolution to Bryce and Maggie's relationship really weird and unbelievable for their age. There's no way Bryce never hopped on a plane.

That said, I thought it was a great way to highlight the different types of love and sadness that we find throughout a life, and I'm glad I read it.
