Entertaining but a bit too weird to be believable...

I enjoyed this book and it was definitely a pager tuner also the charachers were okay but I like seen more development from charachers. I think then toon many charachers in story and the side charachers forgettable. I didn't really like cover of book and the first half of story was better the second half. I think it be better if it was hundred pages shorter.

I hate to say it but this is the first Sharon Bolton book I've read that I just didn't enjoy. The plot seemed very far fetched and odd, I found the main character unlikeable, and the narrative heavy on medical details that I often found myself skimming through. Full review to come

This was a mystery that got better as time went. I wasn’t crazy about how it ended but I since Bolton’s books rarely have the neatly tied endings I would have preferred, I’ve gotten used to that. I thought it was good for a first novel. There is a storyline that wasn’t as suspenseful as it could have been since it involves a character from her series but it was nice to see this younger version of this character and more of a background too.
