A fun book! There are some serious trigger warnings I strongly suggest everyone read to see if they can handle reading the book. I can't lie
the self harm scenes were difficult for me to read, but they happened rarely enough that my experience wasn't completely hindered by their presence
. Beyond that, I though the book was fun, which is strange to say considering the material in the book, but the book kept a rather light tone. There were quite a few turns, some I definitely did not expect and some that were a little more obvious. I enjoyed Amaya. I thought the representation of her intrusive thoughts, and OCD I presume, was good and rather true to life.

Kinda like Dial A for Aunties but trying to be darker. ._. I think I didn't have much patience for this though I did get it in the end.

WOW! This thriller was amazing.
Kept me guessing the entire time. I thought one thing about one character for the next chapter to reveal something else. I was for sure on my toes reading this.
Loved the big Sri Lankan wedding as well and all the family and aunty drama 🫢

An obsessive woman's ex-best friend is getting married to her ex-boyfriend and after ending up at the venue she gets accused of murder. Admittedly, I did NOT love the beginning of the book at all. The focus was annoying and a little boring to me, it felt a little bit like it dragged and I just didn't care what was going on. After the halfway mark tho, the book sped up and I found myself pretty gripped and very interested in seeing where things went and uncovering the different mysteries laid out before us.

2.5 star beginning, 4.75 star ending. Was pretty basic but I was gripped in the second half for sure. Really like the direction it went.
