⭐️⭐️⭐️. 25 stars. Y’all, way too much happened in the last three chapters 😩. But I’m glad I didn’t make up a wild theory because Liam formed the exact same one in the end. Like please let it be true 😭😭!!! But everything after that?? Oh my goodness. Like seriously, how the hell is anything going to progress?!?! I’m in disbelief.

Y’all, the spicy scenes in this book DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Oh my goodness. They had me like 🥵🥵. Especially since this book focused more on the RH aspect of their romance, if you know what I mean 😉. These men KNEW what they were doing in every aspect. And Liam was absolutely amazing in this book. I love that man. I loved him in the last book, I loved him in this one, and no doubt I’ll love him in the next one.  I’m also glad we learned more about Rowe’s backstory 😢. And he got more involved with Mae. And I hope in the next book we get more Heath because we obviously don’t see him a lot because… he’s in prison. But I need more from him because how does she care and love him?? Like they barely spend anytime together, she spent one night with him in the first book, and hasn’t seen him since four years ago. I just need more interactions with him because i want to like him as much as I do Rowe and Liam (even though I like Liam more 🫣 but that may be because he gets more of the spotlight than the other guys).

Anywho, I am SO CURIOUS about how everything will progress and how they will get their HEA 👀👀.

Favorite quotes/scenes:

“Kiss her. Quit fucking around and pretending you don’t want her. It’s written in every inch of your body right now.” (Heath)
“Why? What do you fucking care?” (Rowe)
“Because I know you want to. And more, because I know she wants you to. And because I want to watch.” (Heath)

“Heath kisses like that. Like he wants to wrap me in cotton and protect me from the world. But Rowe kisses like he wants to burn it down.” (Mae)
“Show me.” (Liam)

“She was everything. Everything I’d ever wanted. Everything I’d ever need. And that if she wanted me, Heath, Rowe, or any other man, I’d give it to her. Because all I could think about was making her happy. Making her whole again. She needed them, and I needed her. I just prayed there’d be a spot in her heart for me, too.” (Liam)

“Can you believe that? Somebody actually donated a perfectly good Harry Potter bed set.” (Liam)
“The horror!” (Mae)
“If you tell me you’re not a Harry Potter fan, this thing between us? It’s done right now. Heath and Rowe are going to have to take you all on their own, because I don’t need that sort of negativity.” (I knew I loved Liam 🥰🤣)

“How about you say some other truths, then? Since you’re so big on honesty.” (Heath)
“What it is you think I want to say? Since you obviously have something in mind.” (Rowe)
“How about you admit that Mae isn’t the only one you want. How about you admit that you think about me, too. That you wouldn’t stop me if I put my lips on yours right now.” (Heath)

“You put my name on the back of your shirt.” (Liam)
“I did. After you told me that story about nobody turning up for you at your baseball camp, I thought you should know that at least one person is on your team. Do you like it?” (Mae)
“Are you fucking kidding me? I love it. I love you.” (Liam)

“Damn, Mae. Here on a date with the two of us and you’re thinking about your ex? Has he got a twelve-inch dick or something? I’ve got that covered, but I know Rowe can’t compete.” Rowe flipped him the bird. 🤭🤣

“Nobody has ever wanted to listen to my sob story about my family. Who else would have a T-shirt made with my name on the back? And the fact you don’t even realize how stunningly beautiful you are is part of why I want you. It’s part of why I love you.” (Liam)

“I love you, too. You wouldn’t let me say it before, but I do.” (Mae)
“Are you sure? You don’t have to—” (Liam)
“But I do. Because you’re so easy to love, Liam. And I couldn’t stop it even if I wanted to.” (Mae)

“What?” (Rowe)
“You’re a pineapple.” (Mae)
“What on earth? Is that a compliment or an insult?” (Rowe)
“Spiky and rough on the outside. Sweet on the inside. That’s you to a T, Rowe.” (Mae)

This is the second book of Saint View prison. From prison riots, to hoping to find the right murderer for Mae's sister, to sneaking love in unexpected places. Elle takes us all on a ride and you get to meet the world's favorite psychopath.

Second time read, first time review.

Wow. I thought the first book had a good cliffhanger; this one takes the cake. We learned some new information throughout this book, but it honestly feels like the cops aren't even doing anything to begin with. My main suspect did the unexpected and I'm not sure if it's because I'm supposed to be thrown off this trail or something else. My brain is easily confused, and I just want answers.

Other than the murder mystery, I'm still enjoying the slow burn romances brewing between everyone. I obviously can't wait until everyone's all together making some romance magic. Until then, I'll enjoy whatever I can get.

In the end, I need more answers than questions. Seriously. My brain can't take anymore.

Once again couldn't put it down and left off on a major cliffhanger! Thankfully it's only 5pm so I still have time to finish the last book in the series.

The emotional aspects are a lot more sped up than in Saint View High series. Not sure how their relationships accelerated to where they are now.
