So it is true that we didn't evolve to exercise, but we have evolved to need exercise - so many contradictions in this book, it is a bit disheartening - and yet - any movement is better than none, and while too much can be harmful - from what I was reading...most of us have NOTHING to worry about. Unless you are an ultramarathoner or a serious heavy lifter, the chances that the exercise you DO get is too much, is just not all that high. The benefits of any exercise so outweighs the desire to sit on the couch (really what we evolved to do) that I will be trying to keep up my daily walks, and even plan on adding some HIIT workouts back into my regime. (Regime - that sounds way fancier than my goal to go on a 20 minute walk every day...)
