Exercised: Why Something We Never Evolved to Do Is Healthy and Rewarding by Daniel E. Lieberman

3.0

This was a good choice for me to listen to on audio as I accomplished other work, because it was interesting and insightful, but if I zoned out I didn't feel I'd missed anything crucial. In Exercised Lieberman has gathered much of the research on running, sleep, various health benefits of exercise, and more. He "adds value" to this body of knowledge by looking at early Homo sapiens and related species to parse out what evolutionary benefits different active habits may have presented.

Most of the information was familiar, but presented together it gave me added incentive to live a very active lifestyle.

3.5 stars.
