This was a fun mystery novel to read. I loved the setting and time period of the book. It definitely helped with the mysteriousness of the story. I enjoyed Ruby as the protagonist, she was intelligent, confident and was not putting up with anyone else's BS. During the book, we met many other characters, all who had their different secrets and priorities. They were all very interesting, and all of them were giving off guilty vibes at some point. This story had me guessing until the end!

Such a fun, spicy read! It made me like Zeus (which I didn’t think was possible 😂)

This book left me with some mixed feelings.

I really liked how the two characters, Rose and Angus, met. I thought it was a very fun meet-cute. I really liked the small town vibe of the book. I liked seeing Rose become more confident in who she was throughout the book. I loved the plus size representation, however, a lot of Rose's thoughts about herself at the beginning of the book left me unsettled. I'm glad that she became more positive about herself as the book went on.

Sometimes I liked Angus, and other times I did not. I was not a fan of the Third Act Fight/Break Up (although, I did see it coming). I felt like both characters acted in ways they had not throughout the entire book. Angus really did disappoint me here.
