the imagery is just wonderful ... a man getting rid of his soul and then a mermaid as well? yeah, absolutely. a touching story + wilde's writing is wonderful as always. lovely!!

not my favorite wilde play, despite the fact that it's still very good. it just doesn't appeal to me as much as his other work, stylistically speaking. it just reads differently, and i won't criticise it too much on that purely because it's still good and it's nice to explore other styles. i still loved quite a few lines and thought they were beautiful ^_^

a short story about friendship and love, but perhaps not in a sweet way you might expect. it's satirical in nature, very well written, and overall amazing from start to finish. great ^^

i think it's nice thematically, and i could tell while reading that the author put her true honest feelings into the poems. however, i didn't like it stylistically so i didn't connect with the poems emotionally.

not my favourite from wilde, but it's still a very well written simple little story, nice imagery and some pretty lines.
