twins in rh freak me out

i enjoyed this but i did find some of the behaviour of the characters to be juvenile. there was a point where the mfc came up with an idea and the men were like “omg shes soooo smart with politics literally queen material” and i was like really? i hate that! i hate when the plan characters come up with is so simple a kid could come up with it.

the mfc does this thing where she acts tough and want to be involved in the politics and fighting and do what? you have no powers and your going to die. i wish the author made her more cunning. there is power in holding your tongue bidding your time and planning. she was so loud! it was good when she stood up herself. it just wasn’t needed all the time.

the romance is… something! i’m not a fan of dub con/non con but bec i knew what i was getting into i was prepared for it. in the future books though i need loads of grovelling. there was literally one decent guy. 

the world building is okay. i wish we were given more though.

 i almost wrote a whole essay on why i disliked this book but i deleted it bec i got tired. all i can say is the author really could’ve done without the age thing. also the mfc is annoying. not bec she’s autistic(which btw was only depicted well in the beginning imo) but bec she’s so whao is me even. also i don’t the abandonment issues were not done well. she just came of as delusional.

will not cont and i’m scared to touch anything by this author bec nineteen and fifteen is so gross.

the mfc is not smart despite the author telling us she’s capable. why the hell after an attack would you strip in the middle of nowhere by yourself when women are being killed? and your abuser is in town? why would your work partner be okay with that? just all around not smart decisions. also… if she primarily dates women… why not make one of mmc a woman? idk it seems v weird like i don’t want to be that person who invalidates bisexuality in straight looking relationships but it would’ve made the story much better imo. i kept hoping that the witch she went on date with would be added to the harem. instead the witch is used for scene or two that’s it. it’s annoying and now i think witches might be the bad guys. the work building is also not there basically. anyway it was a cool concept i’ll give it that.

i just witnessed the mfc character get raped twice in gruesome details and for some reason this has insta lust… if i’m going to witness intense trauma i need intense healing as well outside of falling in love/lust

the world building is not there. the main character knows nothing despite “training” for twenty years. every interaction with the guys is filled sexual tension paper but it feels fake. 

we just went through a rape scene and then she’s pregnant and i was like no way is her rapist.. yes indeed he is one of her love interests! hard pass!

so i read synopsis of the first book lila has white milticoloured hair thinking well following another character but no it’s her. apparently in a month of lila coming to the circus

she has two husband two fiancés, two potential mates and triplets?????

that is too quick for my taste. 

it reads very juvenile and main character is not who i want to follow. she’s stuck at school while one mmc leads out and about doing a lot that i want to see. 

one of f the potential romantic interests is not redeemable. if we are going to say her half sister is evil then he is too. they are both a products of their environment. another thing is the author keeps calling her half sister step sister. i wish the author would stop calling her that. 

also why is the mfcs mom out and about? she literally was just release as a hostage???? 

anyway the first book was good enough for me so i’ll stop here.

omg! this is the extreme alpha omega dynamic that i NEVER want to read! what do you mean omegas need alphas guidance in everything? i don’t know why the author would create such a dynamic and then make her mfc come from a traumatic backround. an alpha made the mfc kill her mom in the beginning and now her life will be dictated by alphas? now i understand why vanessa was so strict about who corie ended up with. at the point i’m dnfing they didn’t even leave the omega treatment facility (literally at reception area to pick her up) and they are already talking about corie NEEDS their control. i can’t!
