Truly amazing! I honestly loved it. The book perfectly combined historical elements and sci-fi. Many of the friendships felt really shallow, but that may just be because of how short the book was.

This shit is so fucked up and it’s just not really for me. Any and all trigger warnings can probably be applied to this book. I still think is was really good, I just personally didn’t enjoy it all that much.

The world-building was super messy and the “poetic” lines just came off as weird. I am still interested in the characters.

It’s a little scary reading this after the COVID pandemic, but it makes me so grateful for the world I live in now.

I was really excited to read this, but I was completely disappointed. Since I really don’t feel like writing a actually review, here is a list of shit this spiteful bitch dislikes for no real reason.

- Fat people
- People who don’t speak proper English
- Other people getting plastic surgery
- Women (just in general)
- Talking
- Not ruining someone’s soon to be marriage
- Flashy clothes
- Self-confidence
- Acrylic nails
- Gay people
- People who use Instagram
- Her mom
- Poor people
- Minding her damn business
- Nature
- Both dumb and smart people
- Going to therapy
- Kinks
- People who enjoy sex
- Wearing hats
- Women with big muscles
- Stretch marks
- Cellulite
- Taking depression seriously
- Not catfishing a child into helping her kill someone

It’s honestly not scary in a “90s slasher movie” kind of way, it is much more realistic. That makes it just so much creeper. I also HATED John.
