A new to me author, Hazel Grace blew any expectations I had right out of the damn water. I didn’t know I needed this in my life, but it was delivered and now it’s mine, and I’m not sure I’ll ever be the same. I’ve been gutted in the best and worst of ways, and I thank you for that.
I’m #teamwyattandrora forever... I hope.
This cliffhanger though...

My first time reading a Sarah Brianne novel, and I’m not sure how I feel...
Elle and Nero are an intense couple? Is that the word I’m looking for? Maybe it’s just Nero that’s intense? I’m not sure. He was a bit over the top, in some ways that rubbed me a bit wrong for him being a teenager, but I understand why he was that way as well.
Elle was a hard sell for me. This girl with all of her troubles accepting Nero with hardly any questioning? I’m not sure.
Overall, I’m not mad at it. I’ll check out more of the series for sure.

Oh, Luke. My heart just can’t take it. Finally. Finally, a lead male that isn’t a complete jerk.
This story was absolutely refreshing.
I could almost hear the Southern accents as I was reading, and I don’t think I would have changed a dang thing.
Gracie and Luke are worth a million stars from me and I’m anxious to see what happens next for the Charleston crew.

Nate. Ugh, Nate. My favorite from the moment he introduced himself to Madison in the very beginning of the series. I knew his books were going to take me places that I wasn’t sure I wanted to go. I went anyways. And now my mind is completely effed. I don’t even know who I am anymore.
And Tillie. Such a strong character from the beginning. Do not even get me started on Brantley.
This was one of my most anticipated reads, and I devoured it. Mere hours after it arrived in my hot little hands, I am forever changed, and ready for Part 2.
I knew Amo Jones was the freaking queen of twisted, but this was a whole new level, one I don’t think I could have prepared for.

Holy cow

Courtney, Courtney, Courtney. This predicament.
The premise behind Courtney’s story is simple. Done with dating, she’s taking her love life into her own hands and skipping steps straight to marriage with a stranger. Brave and set in her decision, she battles the world around her that doesn’t feel the same way she does.
Let me just say, the chemistry was perfection between the two of them. The ending left me teetering on the brink, ready for the next part of their story.
I am #teamCourtney all the way, because there isn’t anything better than a woman who knows what she wants and willing to make it happen.
And now the wait begins...

Beautiful

Marley’s story was a beautiful one, with a woman feeling a lot lost in the world. Feeling like she didn’t compare to those around her, that her failures outnumbered her successes.
I thoroughly enjoyed following her while she hit her stride, in her professional and personal lives.
Marley & Jake were perfection, from beginning to end. With Homer & Morticia, I don’t think anything could have been better.
High school is, was and will always be a rough place for young women, but to see even just a few lives change for the better, that made this heartwarming story worth everything.

I simply cannot

The emotions that Ms. Locke portrayed in this book are some that I will carry with me for a long time. Watching the reformation of Ty and Elin, but also their family at play was a lot to process. I don’t know that I’ve ever cried so hard, been touched so deeply by words on a page, but this book did that for me.
I am changed. By the love. All of it, in each form that it presented itself in these pages.

Unique

Bastien and Tressa’s story was unlike anything else I’ve read, and I felt it in a place where no other book has reached before. To say that these characters and their journey will stay with me is an understatement at best.
The forbidden is something that attracts most of us, maybe not quite to this extent, but we’ve all brushed with it, which is why most romances are built on some form.
A beautiful story.

Reality

Spencer and Georgia Anne’s story was filled with a kind of reality that smacks you in the face in ways you don’t realize. While most of us can’t be rockstars, we can struggle with the same things that ripped them to shreds.
What I absolutely loved: GA wasn’t weak. At all. She was so strong in loving her man, and forced herself to make choices that were right for her, even if they hurt.
And they did.
A great story.
