This definitely was another cute installment to the Fruits Basket series. I was especially touched by the last part where we get to see a more heartfelt side of one the characters. It almost made me strongly dislike the curse. I'm definitely interested in seeing where the rest of the story leads so I'll be picking up volume 3 pretty soon. I also love how positive Tohru is. It takes a really strong person to experience everything she has been through and still be thankful for everything that one has. This may only seem like a manga series, but it really made me evaluate how much I have in my life instead of wondering what I'm missing.

This was so freaking cute! I absolutely loved how the Chinese Zodiac has been incorporated into the main storyline. It was a light read and easy to get through. I think what was most interesting was the manner in which the Sohma boys all have different personalities based on their Zodiac affiliation. Tohru is amazingly cute. She's just a bundle of sweetness and I think she's going to end up being a really good fit for the family. I cannot wait to pick up volume 2 which is already on reserve at the library.

So this is a modern retelling of Peter Parker and his trip into becoming Spider-Man. I grabbed this from the library as a way to finally jump into Marvel comics without having to read all of the back issues which date to the 60s. While I like the story of Spider-Man this version seemed to be lacking and some ways and I had trouble getting into it. I didn't like Peters monologues. For some reason they annoyed me. I wanted to see more history behind Harry, Peter, and Mary Jane. It seemed like their friendship was kind of looked over. I enjoyed it enough to continue the series but I'll be getting them from the library.

So this comic is progressively getting better. What I loved about this volume is that we find out more about Lizzie as well as how Tom is related to the Tommy Taylor in the book. I was shocked by some of the elements of this bind up (violence, gore, etc) only because I didn't see it coming and I appreciated that. I definitely will be picking up the 4th volume in the series. Hopefully I'll have finished the entire series by the end of the year.

I listened to this book on audio book and it was beautifully written. There were some aspects of it that broke my heart but I loved it. It was a little slow which is why I didn't give it 5 starts but I will be doing a full review. Read this book if you haven't. It's rewarding.

Once again I'm reading all the DC New 52 books that are related to the Justice League. I found this one interesting. It wasn't my favorite. I think I'm liking Wonder Woman better, but I really like how Atlantis is incorporated into this series. It's going to be interesting once I get to all the characters in the Justice League family.

Definitely much darker than the first one! But that ending definitely sealed the deal. I did not see that coming and I must say I'm really really loving this series especially with all the mythology tied into it.
