Passenger Princess by Morgan Elizabeth

Such an enjoyable read!

When Ava, unexpectedly, wins a pageant and is crowned Miss Americana, she’s set to go on her reigning tour, supporting a cause that’s important to her. Enter bodyguard Jaime. While Ava is visiting each state, giving attention to women-owned businesses, they learn more about each other and shenanigans ensue.

I found this book very fun and quick to read. It was a day read and, while not deep necessarily, it had a good story going with it. Jaime and Ava learn some things about each other (like Jaime learns now to judge Ava based on appearance) while going on a road trip. The book is well named since Ava IS in fact THE passenger princess. Seriously, she has all her passenger princess accessories ready to go and it was great!

While I was a little slower to warm up to Ava (especially after making Jaime think he had lost her while on an assignment), eventually I came around to her and she seemed to realize the error of her actions. She started taking her safety seriously and I appreciated that she let Jaime teach her some self defense moves.

Overall, this was a fun read and a recommendation for anyone that’s looking for a cute grumpy/sunshine tropes between a romance reading pageant winner and her exhausted bodyguard.

Thank you Morgan Elizabeth and team for allowing me to ARC read this book!

This. Book.

Let me start out by saying that this book is a slow burn romance. That meant that by halfway through the book, when the tensions got high and it was obvious there was some attraction there, I was ready to shove the main characters together until they kissed!!

Adalyn and Cameron as a couple felt slow to get on board with, but once I was on board, I WAS ON BOARD. The tension was top tier and the longer they just ignored feelings, the more I wanted them to give in. Their snarl at each other just spurred on my love for them and made me cheer the romance on until FINALLY we got something.

I read this book over the weekend and it was honestly quite an easy read. Even when I felt myself frustrated with anything happening in the story, it was still the book that I wanted to reach for and read more of. It’s an easy story to fall into and get lost in.

Adalyn is everything and I, much like Cameron, wanted to fight anyone in her life who ever made her feel as though she was too much or a burden for them. She’s hard working and motivated and her dedication to her task, even if that task was a little girls’ soccer team, was great. I can’t wait to see more of her in later books because she deserves to have all her dragons slain and she deserves the best in the world.

Cameron, my grumpy little Coach Chamomile. There’s just something about a grumpy man that gets me every time. Running away from his own fame (for reasons that are addressed in the book), Cameron chose a little town where hardly anyone knows who he is and honestly? Loved that for him. His dedication to his lady and willingness to coach a girl’s soccer team to help her own was *chef’s kiss* Cam is pretty much everything you could want in a grumpy and protective MMC and I highlighted so many swoony quotes from him.

I’m not sure about most things, but I do know one. I want to live in whatever land Elena Armas’s MMCs come from.

If You Give a Billionaire a Bride
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

💍 marriage of convenience
💍 best friend’s sibling
💍 billionaire romance
💍 “my wife”
💍 one bed
💍 no third act breakup

When I saw this book come into my inbox, I was kicky feet all the way. I loved Cash in the other books and a moment where he’s happy and finds his true love? Sign me up! And, best part of all, the book did not disappoint! Ann truly made me so happy with this one.

Cash and Everly as a couple were so engaging and so cute. Childhood friends who made a marriage pact and then get married in Vegas after too many drinks?? The longing was there and the cute moments were abundant. Each moment between them was full of tension and a sense of meeting each other again after being out of touch for so long.

Cash: I loved him. I’ve loved him for a bit. I love his carefree nature and his sense of humor, so it was nice to see that in his own book. He’s caring, considerate, and just cocky/confident enough to make it attractive. I am a huge fan of billionaire romances, but I often don’t have a billionaire romance where he’s so generous as Cash is. My friend likes to say that billionaires don’t deserve a happy ending, but I’m certain that Cash would be the exception!

Everly: God bless this woman. She is brilliant and fantastic in so many ways. She works hard and I wanted to fight her parents so much for everything they put her through. She deserves the world and I was so happy that Cash was happy to spoil her as she deserved!! The obsession with heels was pretty funny and I enjoyed the commentary about needing a whole other space for her collection of shoes.

And, as always, the side characters!! I need Dawson’s book, I need Harrison’s book (which are coming 👀) but I also need Everly’s half-brothers’ books! I just want everyone in this universe to find love. Until then, though, I will look forward to the enemies to lovers romance that will be Harrison’s and count down the days until the next book!! 💕

Thanks  again Ann for the ARC! This was a joy to read!!
