These comics are brimming with so much personality. Yeah, Scott sucks here but flawed characters are more interesting. They don't even really seem unlikeable or malicious they're just really good at making bad choices. That makes for a fun character to read about. This is a good start to a great series. (7/10)

Tried for a few minutes to see if I could come up with a palindrome that what summarize my thoughts on this book, but I'm simply not cut out for that kind of advanced wordplay. This author on the other hand has clearly mastered it. The beautifully clever book is chock-full of so many original palindromes (as well as tributes to some all-time classics) that I could barely even keep up with them all. It's a simple story, but the cute illustrations and funny characters and locales serve as the perfect backdrop for the most elaborate string of mirrored sentences that I think has maybe ever been put to text. A true paragon of the art form that I wish everyone would read once just to appreciate what was accomplished with it. (8/10)

As much as I love Problem Sleuth, this book of the story starts to get a bit dense by the end. It's just a bit less balanced in terms of being convoluted and being entertaining than other parts of the story. Not a criticism, just explaining why I didn't enjoy it as much as the first book. (8/10)

Had no idea what I was getting into with this, but it ended up being a beautiful adaptation of an old Norwegian fairytale I had never heard of. Pretty quickly I picked up on the strange tone that reminded me of other old fairy tales I'd read before, which was when I realized this was an authentic story and not someone attempting to create a modern fairytale. It reminded me a lot of KC Green's Pinocchio adaptation, the way it seems to stay true to the language and story of the source material while breathing new life into it with gorgeous illustrations that are brimming with personality. I'd say it reminds me of Adventure Time, which it kind of does, but that feels reductive. I adore this book. Highly recommend. (8.5/10)
