Well having finally finished this book in such a short space of time there are some good points and some bad points but I have to say if you saw the movie for this book first you've made a terrible mistake I took upon myself to read the book first this time but still make sure you're prepared for the massive influx of character deaths because there are many and like me you'll just want to vent anyone about the ending afterwards.

Anyway I was curious about this book many months back and I get the trilogy set but I never really got into them until I got the 2013 editions which had the "World of Divergent" in it I made a small review for that too now I suggest you prepare yourself for the upcoming books as well they are worth checking out too.

And kudos to Victoria Roth for making readers like myself want to cry or feel a tad angry so yeah very well written if she can make readers feel like that.

Well this book had been sitting on my shelf since last year and I finally made the effort to read it at last mostly because it would be good short read well mostly.

And America Singer isn't too bad despite making a few bad choices for example Aspen we get the tedious love triangle so in the end I gave this book 4.5 stars and I stayed up into the stupid hours wanting to finish this so it was a good distraction don't recommend doing that though.

I will be continuing with the other two books as well and I will be tackling "The Heir" once I get my hands on it eventually.

Compared to the first book "The Winner's Curse" I enjoyed this one a lot more as the stakes where higher as well but I found myself being more concerned for Kestrel here as things have gotten a lot more serious on her part but Arin...However he just seems more like someone who I still don't like I'm sure many people disagree with me on that.

Also I made an effort to finish this book today couldn't leave it for another day hell no and the ending well I wasn't expecting it but hey I now like Kestrel now and I just hope that in book three there's a satisfying ending to this trilogy.
