Magic of the Angels by Jacqueline Rayner
3.0
Pretty much picked this up as I was morbid curious and I've always seen Dr Who books scattered around Waterstones so I went ahead and bought it, and well it was okay it was nice to re-visit the world of Dr Who again and I recently learnt that this was a small series of quickreads so I now have to try locate the rest which will be fun.
Upside is I recently managed to buy a Dr Who book by Stephen Baxter and I look forward to delving into that soon.

Dorothy Must Die: Stories by Danielle Paige
5.0
And this book is a bind up of the most recent Dorothy Must Die novellas that take place before the events of the first book.
My rating on each novella:
No Place Like Oz: 5 stars
The Witch Must Burn: 4.5 stars
The Wizard Returns: 3 stars
Overall a good read and at least we get to witness Dorothy's road to corruption which was nice.

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

I found it very hard not to put this book down and this was the only book by Maggie Stiefvater that I've read her other books just haven't appealed to me to be honest.
But this one however did as I love horses and I've had some experience with them in the past so reading this book was nothing but a joy to me and I found myself enjoying both Puck's and Sean's motives throughout the story yeah I'll be reading this book again and the ending was satisfying as well and I can't ask for anymore then that.

Split Second by Kasie West

This was an interesting sequel as we got to see the story through both Addison's and Laila's eyes but we learn something new that Addie's friend Laila can restore erased memories so we spend most of the book seeing her work out how to do that among other things at least it was this was a fairly quick read but I doubt I'll read anything else by this author as these two where enough for me but the ending was okay but it wasn't great.
