Did not finish book. Stopped at 77%.
I tried so hard but this is too much trauma porn. Especially as a child of a Vietnam vet.

You know you are getting tired of a series when you’re just like “when is this gonna be over?” I do like the series though to try to get through to the end.

It was a meh romance that I probably won’t reread. Tbh I feel like most Emily Henry novels are virtual copies and pastes of each other, it’s either that or she has a ghost writer at the rate she churns out these subpar romances with little to no diversity.

Just another basic retelling of Cinderella. I’m curious if Quinn worked in other famous romance novels/vingettes as the basis for the other Bridgerton novels.

This is one of those books where I’m not 100% sure what I read but I know it was a good book.

Just a meh true crime book. I often zoned out during it because it somehow made frat life sound very boring. It was good every once in a while but it was not worth the 6 month wait I had at my local library.

Sometimes as an adult it is very hard to go back and read books intended for a YA audience and this is one of those times. The whole Spencer and Emily plot-lines of this book had me screaming the entire time. But these lessons are some times lessons you can only learn with time and age. But I’m gonna take a break from this series for a minute cause I can only take so much.

This is basically a speedrun of any Ali Hazelwood novel. But with slightly more smut thanks to the really short run time.
