A Quick & Easy Guide to Asexuality by Molly Muldoon
2.25
Well that.... was a thing that happened. I picked this up after having read Ace by Angela Chen thinking that maybe this could be useful to recommend to people in my life who might have questions, and nope nope, it was not the right vibe.
I feel like i have waaay to much to say about a 73 page comic so I'll try to be brief. And ik its true purpose is just to be a VERY basic intro to people, and to be fair, there were a couple panels i did like quite a bit. But honestly if you're neurodivergent, disabled, QPOC, lgbt+, or have other intersectionalities, id say just go for the longer format reads like Ace by Chen bc you're not gonna get much from this.
But that being said, i appreciate the ontent of having made this book and i can TOTALLY see how for some it would be helpful.

A great resource on asexuality! Wonderful to read! Personally, I found the third part of the book to be most engaging to read but thats totally based on where i am in my own personal journey.
I think this book can teach both ace and allo people a lot about compulsory sexuality and prompts a lot of great reflection on what lessons everyone can draw from asexuality and the many different ways people can express their ace-ness. Enjoy friends!

I think my mistake was doing the audiobook - the narrator is great! Voice so soothing that I've forgotten to actually learn something lmaoo - havent digested much real information. I think reading it will help it sink in more, but also i think a general knowledge of fungi is important! I'll do a bit of research before picking this back up again- still very lovely!

I really liked Church and Dante! Adorable! I love L Eveland but have found her contemporary to be a little up and down in the pacing sometimes but this one is a winner for sure! 😄✨️
The pacing of their emotional and physical relationship was well done and i loved that Dante was the top and Church the bottom here - refreshing and veerry cute! All of Church's blushing!
The plot was also plotting - a little predicatable at times (but i think thats a me thing) but there were some twists i didnt see coming! I wasn't sure the book would be eventful with the synopsis given but i was pleasantly surprised and loved the twists. It was well paced & interesting, and it still felt like there was enough time for the emotional side of their relationship to develop which I LOVED seeing
Enjoy friends!

I just... wtf are these characters thought processes? It feels so random and contradictory and just... like why?? Idk... i cant really connect with the MCs actions or choices.
Also the writing is stiff as hell!
And i just felt absolutely nothing while reading this.

Jellies! 💜
I love that the MCs get so infatuated with each other that they basically yeet the plot so far away and let the SCs handle it so they can go spend time with each other lmao
I liked the Aussie setting too - very fun and it gave a freshness to the mafia theme :)
Also Legend really had me in stitches and losing my head with some of his dirty talk lol his confidence knows no bounds. And i love that he continously encourages Finn to be confident and accept himself and helps to bring out his true personality despite his self consciousness due to his scars.
Enjoy friends! This was a fun and sweet read!

Ok i REALLY do want to finish this book i swear! And it is really good - it just started feeling long and i started losing interest in the storyline. But from what i read the MCs are super hot together and i cant wait to be in the mood for this again - i love Lily Mayne
