Overall I enjoyed this a lot. The worldbuilding was so interesting and Augustine was a unique take on the sandman. 
This book is much more spice focused than I expected. I would have liked more build up to their relationship and I would have liked more of the mystery of the job site and what was happening to Joanna.

This book is so beautifully horrific. The way the tale is spun is just so completely engrossing as you fall deeper and deeper into the story. 
I loved how I was pulled through the story and watching how the different threads began to tangle together. 
That being said, what kept this from being 5 stars for me is that it was sometimes too slow and meandering. I feel like this could have been edited down at least

This book was moving and beautifully written. I'm not normally a lit fic person but I can tell that this one is going to stay with me a long time.
