This book really fulfilled my late-night fake scenarios and I could read this over and over. Second chance of childhood friends to strangers to lovers?? In a small town?? These tropes got me every time and always a hit, this book is no exception.

Childhood friends Mara and Ambrose drift apart after something that occured one night, but they rekindle their friendship years later as adults. I was rooting for their relationship development throughout the story while feeling their pain and joy. And when I said pain I mean PAIN, prepare your tissues. I want to hug Mara, Ambrose, Cat, Laura, Solomon, and basically every character for everything they've been through. You will cry a lot on the second half of the book, I even shed a tear over a maple tree :")

Taylor wrote such a beautiful story with a perfect blend of emotion and you guys should 100% read it and experience the rollercoaster <3

I don't want to have an arranged marriage unless the guy I'll be marrying has been obsessed with me, protect me from my unloving ex-boyfriend, and is a billionaire... also should be as hot as Jack Hawthorne. Rose, he's lucky to have you but you're one lucky woman and I'm jealous.

So... the first half felt too long for them just repeating the same thing, especially Alana saying how he hates him though we KNOW she still wants him back. This could've been just second chance romance and childhood lovers because the small town isn't a big part of the book anyway. It was a good book nonetheless, I will always prefer sunshine blond hero written by Lauren Asher than the grumpy ones.
And Cal-Cami scenes always made me swoon, hope Cami wouldn't mind I call Cow-l the same nickname.

If Taylor Swift's Dress lyrics "Our secret moments in the crowded room, think they had no idea about me and you" is a book, this would be it. I love that song, that line, and this bonus novella.

Wes Bennett? Cute. Liz Buxbaum? Girl crush. You've Got Mail mention? Top tier. Them being the same age as me but I don't experience the same thing? Sucks. Sucks.

I thought I won't like this one that much knowing the fmc is a pickpocket and he's a billionaire F1 driver, that just doesn't sounds good. But I was wrong, the character development was great, I love them both and all the cameos except Cole at one time... He wasn't the same person as he was in his book for a moment, kinda selfish if I have to say.

Did I say that I'm not a big fan of second chance romance in 50WTWBYL review? Well... That has changed. I definitely love second chance romance, but only if their break up has good reasons and they get back together yeaaaars after the break up and that's what the Bower Boys series is.

I got my eye on Desmond since the first book and once again I am blown away but Kelly Siskind's men. Who would've thought the grumpy Des is such a big softie inside? The way Des does everything to be the best dad for adorable Max and the the father/son relationship in general was beautiful it warms my heart every time. Sadie, oh Sadie, the purest and kindest soul I swear she's perfect. When she met Des after 10 years, she didn't even care that the old Des who was a golden boy going into law school is now just a bartender, she just loves him as much as she loves her son.

Can't even remember how many times I sobbed while getting through this book. I AM HURT. The fact that the grovelling wasn't only for Sadie but also Max?? TEARS. If only there were more scenes from their younger years, I wouldn't mind some more angst.

This book DELIVERED, just like the first book but even better. I'm glad I still have a long way to go cause I'm surely not ready to say goodbye to Windfall yet. So excited to read Lennon and Maggie's story! Oh and shoutout to Olivia, she deserves 100 handmade bracelets for all the advices and honesty she has given to Des, and to all the hiking kids, they made this story ten times even better.

Thank you Netgalley, Kelly Siskind, and Montlake Publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It was a very enjoyable and cute read! I adore second chances in romance, especially when the couple is reunited after a long separation. The story's short chapters made it easy for me to get hooked into it.

Both characters developed well throughout the book, but I wish we were given more chance to get to know the main characters personally and more moments of them in high school! The third act breakup due to a major miscommunication was definitely not my favorite, they're an adorable couple but well... I'm not really a big fan of Aiden and you'll know why when you read it.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for giving me this ARC in exchange of an honest review!
