WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK. I loved this book so much, probably my favorite from the series so far. All the emotions that this book brings is hurting me but in a good way. I like to believe these characters are my real friends, no argument.

Can we begin with how sweet Ivan was to Jasmine? He's cold as ice but ALL THE LITTLE THINGS HE DID FOR HER MAKES ME MELT; how he lit her up, makes her believe she inspires people,  takes care of her when she was sicks and secretly knows all her favorites. If i can 3D print Ivan Lukov, I WOULD.

And Jasmine Santos, ugh I admire how hardworking she is and how she always believes in herself. She's both funny and sarcastic at the same time but not gonna lie tho there are some times when she’s being too bitchy but duh aren’t we all?

The other characters somehow are also important to the story. i wanna see more of jasmine's family, they're chaotic especially their group chat lol but also really fun and they're very supportive?!?

The slow burn was... well, very slow, but it was worth it. If you're impatient I won't really recommend you to read this. But their chemistry? Top tier, I  love how they let the hate tension and banter stay after they get together, the romance tension and bickering is just the perfect amount. And I can't stop thinking about the anatomy issue, I NEED IVAN'S POV IN THAT SCENE PLEASE!!

I can see why people hype it so much, this book doesn't disappoint me as my first MZ book. Ivan Lukov is the perfect book boyfriend literally giving my hand in marriage for him🌹💍

Salaam, with Love by Sara Sharaf Beg

"No one deserves to be insulted because of their faith or because of how they choose to dress. It's not right."

Salaam, with Love was my first muslim romance book that I read and let me tell you I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. SO MUCH. It has the perfect combination of romance, friendship, family, and faith with a great representation of Islam particularly during Ramadan.

Let's talk about the characters first, starting with Dua. Oh, that girl. As a muslim girl, I can relate so much to Dua's characters, we have a lot of similar views on Islam and even about ourselves. Dua's character growth is wonderful, especially how she nailed her Ramadan list. And she isn't the only one who has grown in faith because seeing her development inspired me so much, so I did too.

And Hassan? The perfect boy I need, every muslim girls dream boy, the ideal man muslim parents want their daughters to marry. He's the perfect golden boy; smart, respectful, and not to mention he's a hafiz (yes, as in a person who has memorized the whole Quran) (yes, I did screamed when they mention that).

Each of the supporting characters aka Dua's family and friends, is endearing in their own way. The family dynamics amongst them are incredible, I loved how supportive they are of one another. They even treat their friends as though they were family. Haya and Mahdi would probably be my favorites. Haya is the type of girl who can brighten our day and cheer us up when we're down, she's the best friend and sister we could ever ask for. And Mahdi, as the youngest child is just the cutest, I loved how honest he is.

I see nothing is missing from the plot. There was one part of the book that shattered my heart, no one deserves to be treated like that. I liked how the author shows that a Muslim woman's appearance, whether they're a hijabi or not, does not reflects their faith. And the ending? Perfect. Yes. Definitely interested

A perfect wholesome read for Ramadan and would totally recommend this especially when you need more proof that halal relationship is indeed possible. When you have free time, read this before Ramadan ends.

I can't wait until the ebook is out so I decided to listen to the audiobook z and since it's my first time, ai have to replay a few times to remember the scene. Nevertheless, I'm not surprised to find out HOW GOOD this book is. Enemies to lovers in one roof? The heat? THE SPICE? 10/10.  Will I still read the ebook once it's out? Absolutely.

Though I know that I'm not a big fan of celebrity/Hollywood romance, I surprisingly loved this one! I've read a couple of Nix's books before and I loved the writing style, including the one in this book.

It has enemies to lovers trope (which is... my top favorite) between an A list Hollywood actress with her nemesis reporter that turns into second chance romance. Since this is a novella, the pace of the book felt really fast, even the relationship was insta-love. The characters turned from enemies to friends to lovers very quickly, I wished we could see more of them as enemies and didn't suddenly forgive each other after 20% of the book, and find themselves in her bed after.

I loved how the author portrayed the reality of having a relationship in the Hollywood industry and how she described panic attacks in a realistic way. The mental health issue representation is definitely a plus point.

This book felt like a second half of normal length romance books where they finally start liking each other and deciding on what their relationship should be. I can see that it has so much potential as a normal length romance book, but even as a novella, it already is great enough.

Overall, it was a very fun lighthearted short read. Will definitely read the rest of the series!

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC in exchange of an honest review.
