The prologue itself is already painful and every chapter of this book has a secret for you to unfold. One thing that isn’t really my cup of tea is the romance was kind of insta-love... but not really? i would say this book is the combination of It Ends With Us (less sad and triggers) and November 9.

I couldn't stop reading until i know why and HOW and I feel satisfied finally knowing all the confessions. the ending is a bit too neat but it’s still great. Just wait and be patient if you’re reading this.

Let me say this first: GO. TO. HELL. TREY. yeah, he’s that bad. you hate Ryle Kincaid? Wait until you meet Trey. All Iwant is to be able to punch him in the face and push him off a cliff. Along with Lydia. First of all, her name reminds me of the Barbie Diamond Castle villain and guess what they’re pretty much the same. If I can turn Lydia into a stone too, I would.

I feel like Owen and Auburn is the blue print of Atlas and Lily i got the same vibes from them. I have so much to say about auburn but I don’t want to spoil anything so all I can say is she’s a great woman and she deserves the world. And so is Owen, he deserves Auburn as much as she deserves him.

When the author said that the confessions are true confessions submitted by readers, I never thought I would be that shocked reading each one of them. Some makes me want to throw the book, some makes me want to hug it. I also really love the artworks.

"Who cares what you should do? Life is short. People are cruel. Have fun while the sun shines and let everyone else sort themselves out."

This is so far my favorite Twisted Tale that I've read. Conceal, Don't Feel was more of a bedtime story than an actual twisted tale, and So This is Love has a sloow pace it makes me bored.

First of all, the tension between Rapunzel & Gina >> Rapunzel & Flynn. Gina is my favorite character she's not even the main but oh my God GIRL BOSSSSS I just love her adventurous and brave personality. And Flynn is more softer and sweeter here, it's not a bad thing obvi but I was kinda hoping that there'll be banter between him and Punzie. There's ONE THING I hope will come up as a plot twist
that Eugene and Gina are actual siblings after Arianna brought that up.

So Gothel isn't exactly a real villain here. Sure, she's cruel, just... not really like that. She's a real bitch tho, body shamed my girl Punzie and how she killed her parents (which she DIDN'T, Gothel made that up). Then who's the villain, you wonder? The psycho herself, Countess Bathory. And I know Gothel betrayed Rapunzel but still she raised Rapunzel for almost two decades and Rapunzel shoo-ed her like it's nothing IT'S KINDA RUDE TO ME??

Lastly, I know that Rapunzel's hair has magic from Moondrop Flower but honestly I'm still confused what the magic really is?? Is it that complicated or it's my bad that I didn't take notes...

First fantasy book of the year!! Surprisingly, I enjoy it more than I thought I would. The pace was kinda off in the beginning because of the world building, probably all fantasy books are like that so no big deal. But I enjoy reading the rest of the book, and like Jude, I also have a list of people I'd like to kill if I live in the same universe.

When you read this book, trust. no. one. And chapter 20?
Too much deaths in one chapter. But who am I to complain? Go Queen Jude.

This book brought me out of my slump and I love it for that. But there's the thing: It's too perfect. I do understand that it's all fiction, of course, but the plot felt too neat. The conflicts were all solved easily, but maybe that was just the magic of Alex Volkov.

Anyway, Alex Volkov is the type of guy who will threaten even kill anyone that hurts or even touches you if he doesn't like them, I'm not kidding. It sounds very protective, yes, the author did warned us about that so I have no reason to complain but it's just not my favorite type of MMC. But other than that, this man is too. perfect. He's rich (yes, I have to mention that first), a COO of a multimillionaire real estate company or something, has an IQ of 160, we love an intelligent man, does Krav Maga, SINGS, has connections everywhere all around the world in every building you've seen in the road. I can't mention one thing this man can't do. So overall, Alex Volkov passed the test to be on my book boyfriend list, except the whole alphahole thing, just not my favorite.

For Ava Chen, not gonna lie her character is a bit bland for some reason? But I love how the author makes her friend group (which I'm guessing will each get their own book) diverse. Ava is the half-Asian girl, she loves photography and I was hoping we could see more of her doing it than just taking Alex's portraits and skipped the scenes when she was doing the photograph camp (?) thing. She was a total sunshine and don't we love a woman that can make a man like Alex grovel? Ava has that power and it's something.

The plot was kinda surprising. I kinda see that coming because of the title, but it still shocked me. The feelings between the two characters developed so fast, like he suddenly likes her because of... I don't remember, but it was pretty quick despite all the eight years they've spent together, and it's mostly in Ava's POV. On the other hand, Alex mostly talks about revenge in his POV and a bit of regret of
letting her go
.. LIKE DO YOU LIKE HER OR NOT SIR? I just didn't feel the chemistry that much. But if you're wondering, yes, the smut was good.

Overall I like the book but I have a feeling this will be my least favorite in the series. Ok next one: Bridget and RHYS. I KNEW THEY HAD SOMETHING. Don't think I ever read forbidden romance, but surely hope it won't disappoint.

"It's so exhausting pretending to hate you."

So, I'm still debating whether or not Ethan Thomas will make it onto my 2022 book boyfriend list. He's... alright, cute and adorable. I understand why he didn't believe what
Olive said about Dane at first since he's his brother and he knows him longer than Olive, of course,
but the thing is he could've done something better when he apologize to Olive... I think? Rather than just
wearing her bridesmaid dress that looks like a lettuce
inside my head?

Olive Torres, on the other hand, deserves better. She has a lot of potential that the coauthors could make something else more stand out rather than her amazing boobs. Like, her job? She's a woman in STEM, right? But the coauthors make us think Olive is merely an unlucky heroine who despises and fights over everything..

I don't want to talk about him, really, but Dane is a major red flag; I knew he was trouble. Ami is a very sweet twin sister, and I'm glad she
left Dane. In fact, I'm actually more invested in her new relationship
since it feels like the second half of the story was more centered on Ami's relationship and how it affects the main characters.

For the plot, I wasn't really hooked with the story at first, either because I was distracted with other things or because the beginning of the story wasn't vert compelling, but it's getting better and funnier, though I believe the ending could be so much better. I enjoy the banter between Odessa and Ezra (get it) but I don't think this considered enemies to lovers because they didn't hate each other; they simply enjoy arguing. Well, yeah, they did say they hate each other, but it was a misunderstanding, and they still get along well.

You know what's kinda disappointing? Faded to black. Suddenly wake up in the morning. But you know what's exciting? The massage scene. This book is a fun and easy read, I definitely enjoy reading it just not my favorite.
