Emilia is the author of a successful crime fiction series; however, she starts to notice that things are happening to her straight out of the plots of her novels. Are her and her family in danger?!

I loved The Woman Who Lied. It was a gripping psychological thriller with some surprising twists. I was hooked in the first chapter and really enjoyed the plot. I’m not surprised that I loved this book since I have loved @clairedouglasauthor’s other books as well!

In Red River Road, a young Australian woman decides to travel the Coral Coast of Australia in a solo van trip and goes missing. However, this story is not what it seems at first!

I was hooked from the beginning and really enjoyed this travel thriller. I recommend giving this audiobook a listen if you enjoy travel thrillers and enjoy big twists in a story. I truly did not see the twist in this one coming!

My Daughter's Revenge by Natali Simmonds

Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.
The main character is incredibly shallow and the daughter is spoiled while also being shallow. I just couldn’t continue with such unlikeable characters.

This short story collection is an interesting read about how one serial killer can have widespread impact on families, communities, and people all over the world. It highlights the victims and the wake their deaths leave behind instead of the fascinating with the perpetrator. All the short stories are connected but do not flow like chapters in a novel. I recommend this audiobook if you enjoy a collection of stories that will make you examine society’s fascination with true crime.

I really enjoyed the latest installment in the Temperance Brennan series. Fire And Bones has Tempe traveling to the nation’s capital, Washington DC. She is investigating victims who were found in the remains of a burned down building. This one has all the elements that I love about this series, yet is another unique and fascinating investigation.
