The Last Child by John Hart
Had a hard time getting into this one so I skimmed it. The subject matter ended up disturbing me more than I realized it would when I chose the book from the library, plus I just didn't care for the writing all that much, but that could have been my mood.
The Girl Who Played with Fire by Stieg Larsson

Took a day to read this book. I love that this book centered around the heroine, Lisbeth Salander more than the first book did, though she is absent for a small chunk in the middle. I can't wait to see what book 3 has in store for our genius hacker who kicks much ass.
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson

(My review is nothing fancy, I review mainly for myself).
Like others, I struggled with keeping some of the characters that were introduced within the first 100 pages straight, but I mainly contribute that to the fact that I didn't really know how to pronounce them. I have an easier time retaining information when I can pronounce the words. The writing gets a bit wordy but I didn't have a problem getting through the book at all. I still love the character of Lisbeth and am happy that I got to read the end of her story. I think book 2 in the trilogy is still my favorite but I did enjoy this one.

Other than the first-person point-of-view, I enjoyed this book. The subject matter is pretty horrific but I liked the main character and I look forward to the next two books in the series.
