It only takes a bit to get back into the story. I was so glad, that there're no boring re-telling to get back into it. Tho, I read them slightly afterwards, so no idea, if that'd been better her after a longer break.

I think I enjoyed this one the most. And, honestly, I'd not really call the king the wicked one here xD

It doesn't take long until the action begins and I love Holly for that.
Even though, it's full of teens doing stupid stuff, I really enjoyed the read, because it absolutely doesn't feel like it. Since I read this Fae series after a really long time where I avoided those. I'm glad, I took the step for the read.

As I loved the first book, I went for the second as well. But, admittingly, it didn't get me as much anymore.
I still enjoyed the read nevertheless, I like the writing style a lot, even though, I don't agree to everything he's saying or every opinion he shares in the book.
It's still nice to have look behind the scenes which is still too rare to get.

I don't remember when I first read it but didn't mind the re-read either way. I know, I saw it differently than the first read.

It focuses on grief and how to deal with it. Knowing it from first-hand but also from a friends perspective. It's not always easy to figure out how to behave towards someone who experienced it. So, I get that. But running away is never a solution.

I like how Jaden behaves towards Kenzie and how he tries to get her to understand.

When I found him on YouTube I was kinda fascinated by him and his story. What he went through, why, who he was then, and who he is now. So, I bought his book and gave it a try. And I usually don't read biographies but I hardly could put it away and really enjoyed reading his story.
