I adored this fantasy and the world the author created. I think fans of a Taste of Gold and Iron would love this book.

This was just such a fun and sexy read. The author had me laughing throughout - with the ridiculous paranormal porn names, the fandom chat logs, the silly porn scenario *chefs kiss* If you are just looking to have a good (and hot) time with minimal angst or heavy topics, this book is great.

I thought this book was gorgeous and was particularly moved by Alexei's character arc. His journey to come to terms with his parents' rejection and his wrestling with faith after being rejected by the church of his youth moved me to tears.

I found the first part of this book fun and sexy, even though it had some large plot holes/inconsistencies. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the 3 leads and it was enough for me to overlook the plot issues - until the 3rd act where imo, the book lost focus and the plot really stopped making sense to me.

A very sweet holiday romance (both Hannukah and Christmas) with heaps of hurt/comfort. I particularly enjoyed the family and found family aspects of the story. There were a few scenes and plot points where I found the writing a bit unclear and was confused, but overall, a fun, lighthearted read.

This was a very fun read and I flew through it! The author used an interesting dual timeline structure that I thought worked very well with this story. I was also pleasantly surprised that a book centred on wedding planning avoided alot of the sexist and heternormative tropes around women and marriage that tend to dominate mainstream MF Romance. There were a few places where I wish the author had provided a bit more insight as to why a character changed their mind on something, but otherwise thought this was a great book.

This romance was top-notch and I adored the main characters. I put off reading this one for a while because I assumed it was a re-tread of RWRB, but its actually very distinct and tbh I liked this book more. I only took off a quarter star because Im American and get a little uncomfortable when books make me side with the British monarchy haha.
