Hitting the Wall by Cate C. Wells

I've read a few books by this author and this is by the one I've liked the least.
Shay had a shit life but i really didn't like her much, exfept for when she was being a mother to Mia, which was lovely. Shay was just super untrusting and refused to actually talk shit out and that annoyed me no end. I just wanted to slap her multiple times for acting like she did. Somethings are totally understandable other were a bit too much for me to stomach in term of her reasoning.
Kellum also wasn't amazing i get that he's a good guy and doing the right thing and that he finally 'took off the rose tinted glasses' but honestly if people had pushed the same issues earlier it would have happened earlier.. maybe not before Shay but still earlier than it did happen. I get that we don't always see our fanily as others do, but they all blame him for that, when he did bothing wrong really.
I like how the Wall family rallied for Kellum and Shay but honestly I didn't like this world or the characters, so i probably won't be reading more of these. But i do want to try the Steel Bones series maybe that will be a better fit.

I quite enjoyed this one, fespite them both being stubborn and foolish as fuck. But Gio was cute with Isabel.
My main issue with the book was some missing words and a couple misspellings, it really took me out of the story as i kept repeating them in my bead with what should be there instead... But overall it was a fun story

Wasn't as suspenseful as i expected... Yes there is the underlying storyline which involves all the giys so we're getting a book for each to apparently find their soulmates despite being reactivated as soulless super soldiers.
But this book left me with more questions than answers. Why didn't Dom immediately tell them about the headache? Or is that going to be the opener in Doms book (book 2)? Are the guys just never going to be alone until this series ends? If they reactivated Dom is that because they gave up on Jack or is it to help Jack kill Allegra? Jack seems to have gotten his HEA.. will they no longer reavtivate him now?
Like i said i know it's a series but ao many unanswered questions makes me not want to read the next book... But I'm also curious as to if I'll get answers so i do want to at least read that one...
Anyway.... Overall it was a fun, quick read and i got a little invested into the storyline of the reactivations. Allegra and Jack were fun but a little boring tbh even with all the action happeneing around and to them.

I enjoyed this one wuite a lot, nice and quick and quite fun watching Beck fall for Eva... I wasn't a huge fan of Eva keeping the truth from Beckett as the outcome was predictable although it was a bit different than the usual miscommunication tropes I've read. The end seemed pretty rushed though which was a bit sucky but overal a good fun read.

This book was boring, i got a third through and I really don't like Gemma she is so annoying and Ras deserves better. I never made it to any smut so i can't comment on how spicy it was.
In my eyes it's not enemies to lovers .. not at all, its people who barely know each other and she dislikes him because he bugs her and she bites at him... Definitely no hate between them at all so it's not enemies to lovers... I believe in the first 30% she calls him her enemy once because she overheard a conversation she shouldn't have .... Thats it

This one wasn't as enjoyable as I'd hoped it would be, nor was it as dark as I expected it to be.
I was not a fan of Isabella l, she was toos tuoid to live sometimes and whilst i could understand her being traumatised by what she's been though in her life, it doesn't really endear me to her when she's acting too stupid to live on occassion. Also the second guessing Roman every second she experiences anything for the first time gets old really fast.
It took me 4 days to read this because it just didn't engage me and i didn't 'have to know' immediately what happened, so i was reluctant to pick it up at times. Everytime i did pick the the book up all k coukd think of was the song Sweet But Psycho by Ava Max... Just a gender bent version...
