I'm a sucker for romantic suspense that has me on the edge of my seat until the end. And the fact that I was so sure I knew the twist and was WRONG?! I love it, actually. 
Shep is a man who loves acts of service and also cannot keep his hands to himself?? The way he always had small touches with Thea, the way she could feel his eyes on her? I'm sweating. And chapter 49??????? Write it on my gravestone. The people deserve hot books.

Honestly, this may be my new favorite Elsie book. I buddy read this with my friend Rissi and we were absolutely losing our minds with each update.

I'm obsessed with a man who's always been down bad. The girl who protects her heart by convincing herself he never wanted her like that. Their dynamic, the playfulness, the ability to rile each other up and then hit them softly.. I need it. ASAP.
