Overall, a very fast read as most of it read like a script. Some beautiful lines and sentiments though 

I just can’t. I wouldn’t mind the homophobia in a queer horror book if it was written well.. but i cannot read this

I tried SO HARD with this book. There was so many lines I annotated that were so unnecessary though. SHOW me, don’t tell me. There’s also phrases that just felt like they could have been removed and it wouldn’t have impacted the story at all. 
“I wonder if I should bother applying some make-up and decide I cannot be bothered. Though I am doing it, so I can be bothered”. WHY TELL ME THIS!? There were better ways to get this across to me than saying “lol i’m doing it anyway”. 

Such a huge fan of how simply funny and emotional this series is. It’s such a lighthearted Danmei tale and a fun mix of modern and traditional elements. Biiig fan! 

I have no criticisms for this book. I am shook.
