This book was a cute little filler book - a bit like a filler episode in an anime - however it was a bit lackluster. The intention was to be a warm holiday novel, and it definitely set the scene up for the next book, however it kind of felt like a waste of trees at times. The plot is fine, the characters are the same old lovable characters, but this book could have easily been a chapter in one of the other books as opposed to an entire book itself.

This was a good read, confusing at times since certain elements of the world building aren't developed well but hopefully that improves with the next book. The plot and characters are enjoyable!

A good book to read if you're in a reading slump. It's fast paced and loosely based on cinderella.

The book was really enjoyable, all the characters were lovable and the author did a good job of making you feel differently towards different characters.

Although there was romance, it wasn't a large factor for the plot, which is refreshing. The world building was okay, I personally wanted to know a bit more about the settings and laws and whatnot but apart from that the book overall was really good

Light hearted romantic comedy. It's fast paced and a lovely book to read commuting or wirh a cup of tea. The characters are lovable and there are really important lessons to be learnt. There is a fair bit of spice as well.

The diversity of the characters felt natural too- sometimes in books it feels like author's will add in characters to tick items off a list, but in this book, everything feels right

I find that the first half of the book was more enjoyable than the second. You really got to feel the experiences of the characters, laugh out loud at times too, but the second half lost focus of characters and did more telling rather than showing.

I personally thought there wasn't any major conflict or issue the characters had to get through (not necessarily a bad thing). The last few chapters felt a bit rushed and were driven more by spicy interactions than actual plot, which I found myself skipping as it felt overused by the end.

Overall, a good read!

This book was definitely better than the last book. The characters are less of a red flag and more likeable. The plot is slow but interesting. I don't think I'd every read the book again, nor would I really recommend the book. This book was definitely spicier than the last book, but less crude.

I really enjoyed this book! The pacing was decent (a bit slow at first but things picked up quite a bit towards the end) and the plot was definitely the driving factor for the book. I think the characters themselves, whilst I personally didn't like anyone but Simon, you do enjoy progressing through the story with them. There's not much character development and the development that is there doesn't feel organic- just feels a bit random.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING omg this was one of the best books I've read in such a long time. When I read ACOTAR I was skeptical about continuing the series but this book is completely worth the read. The world building is brilliant and the writing is easy to read as well (a bit repetitive at times). The book definitely is VERY spicy in places however SJM definitely doesn't write in a way where the spiciness feels thrown in randomly. The characters are all loveable and once you start reading it's so hard to put down!

This was a nice addition to the main series. It gave a lot of information regarding the world building and also gave us some closure regarding the characters after war storm (but still left a bit for us to imagine too). I really enjoyed the varied formats the different reports and segments were written in.
