A quick, perfect reference encyclopedia of magical uses for herbs.  The reference and index section of this book is perfect, and finding the listing for the plant or herb you're seeking is very easy.  Information is listed in a way that makes it quick to access and use, without reading large blocks of text to sift for what you need.

Will definitely be keeping this in my collection for years on end!  :)

This was a great read!  As with all magical reference materials, I take what speaks to me and leave the rest.  While I didn't fully jive with everything in here, I loved that the author broke down different ways to connect with Spirit so that readers may find which method works best for them (and/or try out other methods just for fun!)

Would definitely recommend if you are interested in astral projection, meeting your spirit guides on their turf, and/or deepening your sense of self and your place in the world.

The artwork is STUNNING but the dialogue is so stilted. Enjoyed this story overall.

I LOVE DOCTOR WHO SO MUCH. And I love River's character so much.

My ADHD brain had a hard time staying focused on this book though. The jumps between River's perspective and Melody's perspective were challenging, and the font was hard to read where excerpts were inserted from River's novel.

All that aside, the concept for this story was so intriguing and perfectly fits the Dr. Who universe.

I was hooked through the very end! There was no second book slump in this series.

I absolutely ADORED Ife and I was so excited to see a neurodivergent Autistic character represented so well! Roseanne A. Brown did an amazing job with everyone's character growth, and I just cannot speak highly enough of this series. PLEASE READ!

This was such a cool fantasy novel!

Admittedly, this was originally a cover buy for me and I didn't realize this was the 2nd book in a series until after I had begun to read.

However!

The events of this book take place chronologically before the events in the 1st book, so now I don't feel so bad!

This installment covers many, many years as our protagonist moves through her life. I loved reading from her perspective and knowing that this helps set the stage for "Black Leopard, Red Wolf".

Highly recommend if you are seeking a fantasy novel with a vastly different cultural background than what we're used to seeing on the market!

An interesting horror novel with quite the plot twist!

Reading from potentially unreliable narrators while trying to put together the pieces of this puzzle had me hooked until the end.

Definitely recommend if you like mystery/ thriller novels. This book wasn't scary in terms of supernatural horror or paranormal events.

The Community Group's Balloon Project is such a 90s thing! LOL

Spooky stalker, atmospheric setting, and chilling events that our narrator recalls from childhood set the stage for this disjointed story.

I did not like the jumps in timeline (forward and back, rather than simply chronological), but found this story otherwise fairly engaging and intriguing.

This horror story reads more like a psychological thriller, which is outside my usual taste. Worth a read if any piece of the description interests you. :)

Ohh this was a cool concept! This was a short story, but a highly enjoyable horror! I would love to see if this might turn into an eventual series. The characters, atmosphere, and pacing were all wonderfully executed, and the budding romance was adorable. ❤️🙌🏼
