Sepulchre by Kate Mosse

Beginning to read a second part of a "series" one often wonders if the commitment will be justified. Fortunately, #2 of Languedoc trilogy is as good as #1. I think it's very well written and while it captivates the reader, its structure provides "stop-points" where you can close the book and reflect on what you have just read.
I really enjoyed the way author stays focused in the same general idea of the past mixing with the present through (related) women and the same geographical area comes into play and in the same time providing a completely different story. Labyrinth is more "epic" and more "historic" while Sepulchre is more intimate, "esoteric" I could say. And of course this fits exactly to the theme of the book.
All in all a very good read indeed, I am waiting for #3 of Languedoc Trilogy.
