I love love love love this book. I’d be thrilled if it got into the hands of young men; clear, persuasive, and honest advice to make your life better. It immediately made me reassess my relationship to seeing the doctor and cleaning at parties. As a non-binary Canadian writer (and all around interesting person) Alex Manley has written a book that deserves to shoot Jordan Peterson’s rules for life out of the stratosphere.

I love a good closed box mystery and this book has multiple of them. The syndicate story was especially well done! On the Viz Manga app you get a real sense of it being a scan, it has a real comics feel to the aesthetic. Instant nostalgia for a physical form I have never seen.

Japanese manga’s longest running detective series! It is really fun!!! 30 years old and the mystery still feels fresh! Happy I checked it out on the new Viz Manga app.

This series is constantly under threat of cancellation as it has been BOMBING in sales in Japan, but god, I am really enjoying it. STUNNING, BRUTAL STORY INVOLVING EXACTLY 100 FRANKENSTEINS.

My heart goes out to Nami!!! The crew choosing a finding a doctor over the main plot is why I appreciate One Piece. 🧑🍳💋👌 The volume starts with giants ending their centuries long feud and ends with a royal trying to crush a new democracy while a 190 year old witch runs around. That’s adventure, baby.

Happy National Poetry Month! This is full of myths, mermaids, sirens, Starbucks, and pain! I have never thought about mermaids for so long and with so many different vibes.

Recommended by the always wonderful Mangasplaining podcast as a terrible/wonderful palate cleanser. It…. is something! LOL! Everyone is built like a sexless Ken doll, ready to fight their hearts out .

A lot of astonishing moments in this volume as four supernatural serial killers are set upon the earth.
I loved it. Lu and Shin have the most intense pet store scene in all of fiction???? The character on the cover is……. incredibly intimidating. This series keeps ratcheting up the stakes.
