Simply because I kinda felt that the ending was a little too broad and obtuse, however that may have been done on purpose. Who knows? Either way, I highly enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to all who enjoy being on the edge of their seats.

This was honestly one of the best books I've EVER read. Not this year. Not this month, but my whole life. This book was such an outstanding read, I couldn't put it down. The writing was so whimsical and poetic that at times, easily snuck up on you. I loved the slow build on the plot line and how realistic the ending was. This book was a clear representation of everything I want from a book. I will definitely remember this book for the rest of my life!

Wow wow wow, i highly enjoyed this book ! The free verse added so much emotion and movement to everything; it made me feel as though I was truly going through all the pain Clara was. I can't say whether it was portrayed accurately or not, due to my lack of knowledge on the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Uprising, however I will say that I will definitely find more information about it. This was an easy read, and I totally recommend this to anyone looking for a strong, booming voice on women's rights.

The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness

(Spoilers, but only until the very bottom)
I am speechless on this book honestly. It took me quite a while to get into the rhythm of this book mind you, but was it one hell of a ride once the world building was done and the action begun! This book had been on the "Should I read this?" part of my brain for a while because I attempted to pick up this book but put it down after the first few pages. Thanks to a lovely friend of mine who happens to love Patrick Ness, I decided to give this book an honest, second go to see if It's good as she had anticipated it to be. And I can say that this book did own up to all the talk! It provided such a nice mixture of everything. The characters practically marched out the page, hell! I could practically hear them yelling through the pages as well! The use of different text to reflect how the noise would "sound" like was just remarkable! Overall, this book is meant to be immersed into because the use of writing in an 'accent' is what makes it seem so real, once thats overcome you just jump right into the world of Todd and Manchee. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone willing to read something completely new and adventurous.
**I will be putting spoilers below this so you have been warned**

Okay, so honestly I did not expect for anyone to die in this book. Honestly! I don't know why, having background knowledge on Ness' work but I sure did hope. What hit me the most, and most likely, anyone whose read this book felt pain in their heart when Manchee was killed. Like come on! I grew to love Manchee only to have him taken from me?
But honestly that's all I wanted to discuss involving spoilers. The ending was pretty shocking too, especially when viola was shot and practically dying but I won't go on to that because obviously there's two more books to go so I won't delve into that.

I don't have much to say aside from: this was closer to 3.5 stars, and it was witty, and relatable. It was pretty enjoyable, and went by quickly.
