RTC ONCE I GET HOME. 

okay. STOPPPP. this review will not be well put AT ALL actually so please continue your scroll. 

i was going to give it a rough 4 star, BUT THAT ENDING. THEY'RE SO SOFT OH MY GOD I LOVE THEM. we have cornelia street by taylor swift and then HER putting him together a SHORT FILM about the two of them, and HIM making her an album of PHOTOS THAT HE TOOK. STOP. and then justt ajsjkldgf. AND THEN THE WHOLE THEME ABOUT HOME :(((((<333333333333 

AND THEN LIKE THAT EPILOGUE. KEYSMASHING RIGHT NOW AND IM NOT ASHAMED. i just, i keep imagining like these two still spending the next five years together and HOW they spent it and then emmit just thank mina first when he got his oscar (at the age of 23-24 is crazy btw) and they get matching tattoos ABOUT HOW THEY ARE EACH OTHER'S HOME. 

i know they're not real so why am i having a parasocial relationship with them 😭😭😭

and then i'm just in lovee with how in love they were like 😭 mina was soo closed off and defensive about everything at first and emmit was just putting on a show for everyone, AND NOW LOOK AT THEM. they're so affectionate with each other help. AND HTHE LITTLE THINGS. emmit softly combing through mina's hair, mina poking emmit's dimple, emmit kissing the inside of mina's wrist, mina putting her thumb on his pulse and noticed how it went faster. STOP.

Edit 31/12/23 at like 2 am : nvm changing this from 4.75 to five stars what was I thinking 

maybe it's just because i'm not in that period of time where i care a ton about romance and all that jazz (well, the real life ones, because honestly most of the times, they suck), maybe it's  not the right time, not the right place, but i found this painfully boring. middle school me ate her two other poetry collections so bad but this one was somehow hard to digest. (which is kinda weird actually because it's barely even two years since then. have i really changed that much? in the span of only two years?). and truly, i don't believe it's because of the quality of the book itself. it's just ME. the more one can relate to poetry, the better the poetry is to the person. and i unfortunately couldn't really relate to most of these at all. it also kinda dragged on to be honest. again, maybe it's just because of me, but i also found it a bit... tedious? i just couldn't wait for it to be over. 

unfortunately, i do rate books based on my enjoyment and my enjoyment for this one was VERY LOW, so.. 2 stars :/ (12.10.23)

still thinking about SO many quotes from this book and one of those is : 

because oh my god. i love love love you virginia woolf. so looking forward to read more of her works <3 (29/9/23)

emotional damage, emotional damage, emotional damage. i lost count how many times i cried reading this book. how am i supposed and how could reality still expect me to function with real people tomorrow???? 6/8/23
