I know everyone is going to be mad at me for this review but here goes lol. There was no reason for this book to be so long. I was BORED and it took me a month to finish it. I should have DNF. I was not into the love story at all and found Emma annoying and selfish. I was more interested in the results of her ancestry test and wished the author had spent more time on that. I don’t get the hype. This is my second Abby Jimenez book and it will be my last. I was trying to give her a second chance because I didn’t like Part of Your World. I can’t put myself through this again

The main character is just so unlikable. There’s so much rape and abuse of young children. I’m only giving it 2 stars because the writing itself was good. I just didn’t like the content
