being the first climate book I read that had practical solutions to the problems, it was a delightful and hopeful read, and I really enjoyed the simple writing style

there is gorgeous poetry about learning to accept queerness, and it's relation to family. 'at the castro' is so full of joy and mourning that I want it imprinted on my heart

I usually dislike reading whole series of books one after the other, but I absolutely adore Catherine Fox's style of writing. the private reflections of each character are so gorgeous, and the ending was emotional yet soothing

the church has never felt so seen than in this book. aside from the f-slurs (uncalled for) this book is so gorgeous and the characters are so lovingly written that I fell in love with them all
except Martin did not like him
and now I am going to read the whole series! no one can stop me
