Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.
10% in and absolutely nothing has happened except talking about making glass.

This was such a great story. I had no idea what to expect. It was a shorter/milder Game of Thrones.

I listened to an audio version of this book and the narrators were perfect.

I wish there was a better way to differentiate which family was who. When the various names of the families are just tossed about its hard to keep track.

Overall this was a good book. Once again I am blow  away by the human will to live. Would I have resorted to cannibalism when faced with starvation or the starvation of my children?  Hard to say but probably.

I'd like to find a better interactive map of the route the party took. Can someone retrace their route on foot and make a youtube series?

Maybe don' t have so surprising reveals.  Sager has gone downhill but still cranks out a few books a year that are best sellers.

While not the worst book I've read its far from the best

I would have given this book a 5* if the characters were more developed. I felt this bookbread like YA.

I love to read about the pioneers and the difficulties they experienced while forming the west. One room school houses w a teacher who was barely old enough to be out of school are so fascinating.

So much responsibility placed on young adults in this story.

I really don't know what to think about this book. Was Caroline god?

It took a while for the book to warm up but once it did and you had the whole real life story going on at the same time as the science fiction part it was okay.
