Definitely better than the first book. Gets better- the plot and characters. Not very exceptional as compared to the usual dystopian trend though, however it was quite entertaining, interesting and fun to read.

It was almost like every other dystopian novel. I expected something more maybe? I didn't find much depth or great plot. It was interesting - maybe very slightly different in terms of plot (not much unexpected) - or I don't know - am I missing something? Although, I'm still looking forward to the next book as I enjoyed Warcross quite a lot and am hoping it gets better. It's fast-paced and easy to read, and it was overall quite okay, if you're new and into dystopian novels.
