Allegiant by Veronica Roth

I enjoyed the first two books but was very disappointed with the ending of the trilogy. The answer to all the questions brought up in the first two books seemed like a cop out similar to many other popular YA books and the very end of this book was horrible. I hated it.
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

I loved the characters, a love triangle that was actually well done for once, and the mystery of the plot. I also loved the historical elements. This is definitely worth the time to read it.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

I enjoyed the book, but didn't love it. It gave me a new perspective on some things and really made me think.
Austenland by Shannon Hale
5.0
This was a lot different from any other Shannon Hale novels I've read, but I still enjoyed it. It was a clean, charming romance that had twists I didn't see coming.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne

I can't believe I waited this long to read this book! It was sad, but so beautiful and a very powerful way to learn about the holocaust. A must read book.
A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer

I read this for school and it was so sad and beautiful. I learned a lot and am horrified there are people who treat others this way. This is a book that everyone should read in their lifetime.
Rapunzel Untangled by Cindy C. Bennett

I loved this book, even though it's meant for a younger audience. I thought the retelling was original and charming, with a perfect ending.
Fabelhaven by Brandon Mull

This series was well done. It was longer than I thought it needed to be, but the world is magical and the characters feel real.
The Kid Who Ran for President by Dan Gutman

A fun, quick read with an interesting concept (could a kid run for president and actually win?).
