Three Amazing Things About You by Jill Mansell

The more I think about it the more I love this book.

I simply adored this book. I loved how the characters story intertwined with each other's and I really felt like Jill Mansell dealt with the disability of the main character very well. It was realistic and purely heart-breaking. I enjoyed every single page and word of this book.

Beautiful, just beautiful.

“When the sun begins to set, we do exactly as we did the night before. Caroline fusses over Dink. Jaxon ogles Harper. The boys gather desert debris for our beds. Guy watches me undress. I imagine our wedding.”

Fire and Flood was such a fast-paced, action-packed and nostalgic read. It reminded me of my youth days when I'd sit on the floor and watch 3 hours of Pokémon non stop. When people said that this was a mix of The Hunger Games mixed with Pokémon I thought they were lying, but they weren't.

Fire and Flood is by no means a perfect book, but it's fun and once you start reading you won't be able to stop, and that's the sort of book everyone wants to read.

I'm pumped for the release of Salt and Stone.

“When I first saw the sand, I thought it was beautiful. Like maybe it'd be fun to just roll around in and make sand angels. Now I know the truth, that sand is actually the love child of proud parents Marie Antoinette and Joseph Stalin.”

I finished this in 3 hours, that's how good it was!
Textrovert by Lindsey Summers

In no way is this a bad book, I just found it hard because I was comparing Textrovert to the original book that I read on Wattpad known as The Cell Phone Swap. I still really love Lindsey's writing, it flows so well and the characters she creates are so realistic. But my 3 star rating comes from how lacking it is in depth and descriptions. I was left waiting for more in certain scenes but it felt like it cut off early and went straight to the next chapter. And there were certain moments from The Cell Phone Swap that I wished were part of the new version, because it was typically Talon.

However, Textrovert is certainly an adorable summer read.

Twisted Bond is actually the third book I've read by Emma Hart and surprisingly I really enjoyed this one compared to the first two. Tangled Bond is a Romantic/Suspense novel following a PI who gets caught up in a murder scandal when a dead body turns up in her Work Offices' dumpster. However leading the case is the same Police Officer who hates her for shooting him in the foot. Honestly this book is both crazy sexy and hella suspicious. I was gripped from the beginning to end.

Well written and entertaining with some sweet moments but Amanda was far too childish and naive for an Eighteen year old.

“One must always be careful of books," said Tessa, "and what is inside them, for words have the power to change us.”

Don't get me wrong, Clockwork Angel is great but I expected so much more from it than what I actually got. It was fast-paced and action-packed but I couldn't help but wish Jem would die through-out the entire novel.

I also want to applaud Mrs Clare on taking on a huge risk with having some of the novel set in Wales. It's so easy to get it wrong, but she blew me away. In fact I'd love to see how some of the American people tried to pronounce it.

“It's all right to love someone who doesn't love you back, as long as they're worth you loving them. As long as they deserve it.”

3.5 STARS!

The book was very enjoyable. But in parts very boring, and irrelevant.

Also the writing was off in this book with words being at the end of the sentence that didn't really fit.

“It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.”

The world of Harry Potter will forever live with me, but I think I read these books a little too late. I couldn't appreciate it as much as I could've if I were a 10 - 12 year old.

The writing was decent, the characters were great, but there wasn't much development and the pacing was very slow.

“It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends.”
