Kiro's Emily by Abbi Glines

I did feel like some bits were a little forced, especially the beginning but I did enjoy it. Emily's character was...okay, a little unlikeable, really but Kiro was bloody brilliant. His story still affects me.

Wow. This is not what I was expecting.
I loved Harlow when we were first introduced to her, but she's honestly the most annoying character I've ever read. Calls herself a slut on many occasions and than acts like she's been stabbed in the chest when someone else called her a slut.
And don't even get me started on the possessive relationship. It pissed me off. When is Abbi Glines going to write a book where the girl doesn't jet off to another place when there are problems? It's seriously so old now.

Emmy & Oliver by Robin Benway

I'm really disappointed with this book. I've wanted to read it for so long, since before it was published and now I wish I hadn't even picked it up. The writing is nice, poetic and I love the awkward relationship between Emmy and Oliver, however, I felt zero connection with any characters in the book. They weren't relatable at all, Caro and Drew, Emmy's friends were just...annoying. They were too over the top, too boring, plain.

I did like this more than Take a Chance, but I'm still not over the rehashing of storylines. I no Abbi is better than this...mediocre that's she's served. It's a pity that she's made both Grant and Harlow unlikeable.

This was good, but I definitely preferred the story in Blaire's POV. However, it was still very sexy and fun.

I loved the relationship between Blair and Rush, it was electric! This book was exactly what I needed.

This book started off so brilliantly, but after the first 250 pages things started to slowly fall down hill. Why does someone always have to die? It's stupid! I understand that TB can kill you, but it's too predictable for anyone to enjoy the book.

My mind is messed up like a noodle. I loved the beginning of this book, it was cute and had a lot of Wit, but then it all slightly crumbled down into nothing. Mia isn't an interesting character, she's a slight bore and Ansel was a workaholic prick!
One problem I had was the difference in writing. One author kept using 'close, return, open' and the other would use 'closed, returned, opened'. It was a little annoying.
I know the sequel is about Harlow, but it's too late. I don't want to read anything else by these authors.
Oh, and the last 30% of the book was definitely a 50 shades rip off. Get some originality, please.

The book was just okay in the beginning, but about 150 pages in it really started to pick up. I loved the relationship between Silas and Dylan, they were incredibly cute together. Plus it was nice to see the different sides to Silas instead of being an arrogant Jock.
Now I need Mateo Torres.
