Enjoying the Chase by Kirsty Moseley
3.0
This book definitely had it problems.
First off, it was too long. I felt like I was re-reading scenes over and over, which put me off a little especially since I love Rosie and Nate.
There were also a few grammar problems, but they were easily looked over.
Enjoying the Chase is a very fun, entertaining and cute book. I love the fact that it follows a single mother who's not sure if she can trust Nate. I also love that Nate continued to fight for what he wants.
I liked it a lot.
Ps, The Wattpad version, in my opinion, was a lot better.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I thought this would be so much better but it wasn't :(
The beginning was slow and very hard to get into and it only started to get good when she entered the arena.
I am, however, going to going to read the second book ready for the film in November but I have to say the film is better than the book.

Ugh, this was so disappointing. I loved The Selection, but I have no idea what happened with this one. Every character became immature and got on my nerves. I'm not sure you can even trust most of the important characters (ie, The King, Maxon, Aspen, America's Father and Kriss.)
Hopefully The One will be pretty decent.

This is more of a 3.25 Stars rating, not 3.
I liked the premise of the books, I mean who wouldn't want to be a model? but for me this book isn't a serious read. If you've just read a big fantasy book and need a quick, easy read that takes no think then this would be the one I'd shove in your face because you could read it in a few hours.
Everything I expected I got and despite the whole part where Harriet's father was acting like a 12 year old, I really enjoyed it. I will admit that I will be getting the next two books because they're fun to read and I need to know what's going to happen between Harriet and Nick.

Legend by Marie Lu
3.0
There is no doubt that Marie Lu is one of the best Young Adult writes out there. Her story was straight to the point and easy to follow, but if I'm being honest, the execution just wasn't all that great. For a short book I was expecting a little more, but the ending just left me bored and I doubt I'll be reading the rest of the series.
Day and June are both great characters on their own and as friends, but as a couple they just do not work. It was the most forced things I've ever read and if anything it was worse than reading a book with insta-love and we all know how much everyone hates insta-love.
Three stars I think is decent and fair, hopefully The Young Elites will be better, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. If you're new to Dystopian then I'd recommend it, but if you're bored with all the generic and cliché Dystopians then I'd say to stay well away.

I wouldn't even recommend reading this book. I've read better newspapers.
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
3.0
I first read The Fault in Our Stars before I knew there was a hype about it, and I completely loved it. I thought the writing was easy going and the characters were relatable, funny and honest about what they were going through. And although John Green romanticised Cancer - which I disagree with completely - I still thought it was a well done book.
And then I discovered Booktube and its hype......
I reread the book a little over a year later, this time I knew there was a hype surrounding not only the book but John Green as well, and I have to be honest.....I didn't like it. Like I mentioned above, I only found John's writing to be easy going; simple really and so I never understood why everyone was licking his arsehole saying he was the "BEST WRITER EVER" because he's not and he never will be. The Fault in Our Stars is merely mediocre at it's best and the only good things about the book are Hazel and Augustus, if John had written two completely different characters then I can bet you a dollar that people would not have had the same reaction....

Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher
2.0
There's no doubt that I expected a lot from Giovanna. I love her sister in law, Carrie and she constantly raved about it. Knowing she loves books I thought that it wouldn't be so biased, but it definitely was.
There were mistakes everywhere and the characters annoyed the hell out of me. She (can't remember the name) constantly moaned and was so immature. Billy was a twat! end of!
Wouldn't recommend if you want good Chick Lit.
