I liked the sports approach that is in this book. It was prevalent obviously since the book is about but it wasn't an information overload. I thought the plot was well executed. It was a good book.

The only way to describe this book is gut wrenching.
It was so painful to listen to but so entrapping that I couldn't stop. In some places it seems so unrealistic, like a Brothers Grimm story brought to life in Idaho. I feel so deeply for Tara and the physical/emotional trauma she suffered. Tara is an inspiration, she overcame so much, and recently. That is the hardest part to digest, that this was taking place 10-15 years ago. It makes you sick to your stomach to hear and read but a crucial fact that you need to understand in order to prevent things like this occurring again.

I really enjoyed this book! I found the information was laid out in a nice manner that wasn't pushy but still remained clear. The humor, jokes and personal experiences added to the overall atmosphere of the book.

The entire premise of the book was about slaying personal dragons. The issue was the constant mention of them. Every other sentence was about dragons. It was okay, I just struggled to finish it.

I was very lost in the beginning of the book. I felt like I had missed a couple chapters with the way the story/plot just started with no backstory. That aside, it was a good book. It is well written, the book is fast paced.
I like the character Josh and his fear of blondes, it's comical. You are drawn in to the story of Serena, and her hidden brilliance. It was a good book but I don't know if it would be a re-read.

I love Pendragon, the perfect character!! I listened to this at work since it was free and available on Libby.
With that being said, it was better then I expected. It was fast paces, to the point and didn't leave anything open at the end. I enjoyed the book and I've been working my way through other books by this author.
