I greatly appreciate this series of books for expanding the universe through background characters.

The weakest and my least favourite of the series so far. Moving to a different location didn't serve any purpose in my opinion. Also I couldn't bring myself to care about any of the characters. Especially the last story in the book with the love plot coming out of nowhere and ending with the death of one of the lovers.

Sweet and melancholy. But I could get into it straight away.

I agree with many of the reviews. The story is good, but the ending was weird for me.
It was good enough without the supernatural stuff. Especially a Egyptian god of all thins?!

It is quite academic and hard to listen in audiobook format. Felt more like a text book rather than a beek you can pick up to satisfy your curiosity on this topic.

This book took a lot of time to explain the puzzle of hhow it was done. To me it made it oo long, the story dragged at times.
