グッバイ・ハーレキン Goodbye Harlequin by 楔ケリ, Keri Kusabi
4.0
The end was cute ngl (not talking about the side stories end cuz THAT ONE was hot).
Definitely deserves 4 stars ⭐
I didn't expect to like it that much. It was so fun to read honestly. + the art and the topic were really good. I'm still in a reading slump as I can't seem to pick up TIG but this manga helped me a little bit

For My Weirdo by DO.D

So...huh. Here we are again. The club of the 24/7 crying webtoon readers.
First of all-

Second- I didn´t put a spoiler warning or anything just cuz I thought it wasn´t really necessary. Idk. i tried not to spoil anything, but please tell me if I did.
I somehow only choose the saddest or the most smuttiest BL manhwa and then complain why I cry over it. And let me tell you all. I cried a lot. Like a lot lot. Whole waterfalls man. Still, I would give this manhwa a 10/5. It is better than every other BL I have read. With exception of Sayonara Red Beryl of course.( My babies Kazushige and Akihiko are always my number 1 forever.) But in this one, I totally felt like I was Kwon Yuwol in some scenes. It made me think a lot about my past with instruments.
But before I talk too much about it, lets go dive into Greeting you strangely aka For my weirdo, as it is the english title.
The webcomic follows student Kwon Yuwol. Talented cellist, but with severe depression. His parents were very successful with their own company until tragic things happened. Yuwol takes a part time job at a ski resort, to pay off the debts. Until someone jumped into his life, who will change everything.
"Even if your memories come back, you´re still the same person."
Let us talk about our precious but broken angel Yuwol.
He had such a hard time throughout the whole story. He never saw how it feels like to be loved until Nam Yun-Gyeul showed up. But that is not the weirdest thing. He said he liked Yuwol? A complete stranger just confessed to him? But he still played along and even lived at Yungyeuls house/hotel/villa,whatever that guy could afford alright?(I actually forgot where he brought him to for the first time so sorry uhuh). He has to pay off his debts to our hot Loanshark Lee Jungwon. Fr, a total hottie. I mean hello? Look at these 3 guys please- they´re all so unique. I totally love the art.

What´s noticeable is the strong character developement of Yuwol. Jungwon also changed, but I dont know if to the worse or good. I still felt kinda sad for him at the end. But I am glad he noticed how much he hurted people in the past after that thingie happened with Yuwol...Let´s not talk about it..still makes me cry.
The smut scenes were also AMAZING .
Like, I thought I would be like:

But this is how it went like:

But why tf did I think all 3 would be in one room and just..yk?-

Anyway I only suggest reading this if you´re fine with suicidal thoughts, suicide, depression, drugs, violence, death, abusive behavior, blood(not a lot tho)
So, in conclusion:
It totally broke me again. I always tell myself to stop reading these webcomics but they´re too good?
+ sorry, this review is just a total mess. I just can´t sort out my thoughts after this.

This was a solid read and i didn´t expect to like it at all! The first few pages were a bit ugh for me, so I stopped reading but after I picked it up again and was past ep 8, I actually got hooked and finished it in one night!
Im glad I read this.
The MCs were WOW-
Mongryong and Jeha truly deserved happiness forever even with Mongmongs temper and Jeha´s jealousy, they worked out well.
Gotta say, be warned, the plot is veeery dark with abuse, drugs, lots of violence and blood.
I just love gangster stories, what can I say..
But was that one plot twist necessary cuz-

It was quite unexpected but wow, Jeha is strong boi, he handled it so well. He also kept thinking of Mongmong when they parted.
And when they were back again, he finally said the thing that I wanted him to say since ep 25

I enjoyed it, it wasnt the BEST but it was a solid and quick read (despite it being over 1900 pages on tapas, rip)

This was intense.
I didn't expect I'd be hooked but it's really interesting. There's also an anime and I've been watching that as well.
