The flow of the book is very slow for at least the first hundred pages. I struggled a bit at the beginning and was honestly hated how paragraphs were so shor and how stories were presented like fragmented pieces of memories, somehow unorganized and inconsistent in relevance. Also when i first read this, i expected the story to be a out sth else, but the focus of this book becomes very clear slowly and no less disappointing. But the last half of the book turned it all around for me. The book as a whole becomes more connected and increasingly touching. It’s impossible to read this and not having tears swelling up my eyes a few times. The writing is extremely beautiful and coherent at the second half.
