There were a number of morally questionable things in the book, but that depends on the type of person you are and the cultural background you’re from. This was summarized in the phrase :
As with any tool, these tools can be used for good or for malice. If you want to find a future girlfriend, wife, or future business partner, a variation of these so-called techniques MAY or MAY NOT work. But at least you’ll have some more ideas for social interaction in your repertoire.
Just know that you can also naturally gain these skills without even reading this book. Neil Strauss did a lot of field-testing (doing it for real), reading, and refining to get where he was at game. So it is theoretically possible for you to learn that without reading this book.
Did he learn it for good of his readers or did he do it for his own hedonistic desires? That’s up to you to decide.
I think we can all disagree with the “negging” technique; heck, even the author himself has advised against that very technique in one of his book interviews. He himself was “negged” by a friend of his, so he should know how it feels to another HUMAN BEING (not just women or men).
I would recommend this book to someone who thinks men are from Pluto and women are from Mercury.

Så husk: be kind, always.

This book is the most unbelievable book I've ever read. I had no idea the seedy underground world of 'pick-up artists' was as big and far reaching as described in this book. The horrible nature of those groups of men make me want to give up on humanity. Seriously. I can get behind teaching men self-confidence in order to approach women and have more success BUT, using that knowledge to to manipulate vast numbers of women is wrong.
It's almost like all the worst bits of consumerist culture applied to women. Where women are dehumanised and judged instantly by a number ranking between 1-10. Women deemed fat or ugly are only worthy of attention when being used to get to the true target. These 'pick-up artists' use multiple scripted 'routines' to get women to give out their number, kiss them and ultimately have sex. Perhaps unsurprisingly, by the end of the book the author and many of the other characters are realising that being part of the 'pick-up artist' world doesn't necessarily make you any happier in the long run.
Based purely on entertainment value though, The Game is brilliant. I could not stop reading it because it really was very funny in parts. I was fascinated by Strauss's encounters with celebrities and his personal transformation journey. It was hard not to get carried into the crazy world of the 'pick-up artists', it was like falling into Wonderland. A disturbing and compelling read.

Fun exciting and eye-opening. For the keener or the alpha male these is just a fun read about guys on adventures chasing girls and their numbers with obstacles and surprises along the way.
